Our officers' cell phones are equipped with special police-specific apps.

The police's own messenger for communicating with each other enables the fast, secure and direct transmission of relevant information, e.g. in search situations or missing person searches. With a special information app, data can be compared with the police search database on site in order to be able to query stolen objects and vehicles as well as wanted persons more quickly. This also helps police forces to ensure their own safety.

A completely new feature is an app with which documents such as ID cards or driving licenses can be scanned on site and assessed for possible forgery features.

Officers also have access to various other apps, such as email, the press portal and the NiNA warning app.

Data transmission from the devices is encrypted. The data is stored on specially protected servers.
