The bodycam is attached to the outer carrying case at shoulder height. The ability to make video and audio recordings during operations is intended to increase the safety of officers. The cameras are intended to defuse critical situations in the field and protect against assaults.

The bodycams can be switched on at the touch of a button if necessary. In most cases, the use of the camera must be announced. A red LED light signals that recording is in progress.

The recordings are deleted after 14 days if they are not required as evidence in the prosecution of criminal offenses. In compliance with high security standards, the images are automatically transferred to local servers.
