One of the main information tools of press work is the press report, which is produced almost daily.

- Information exchange and cooperation with other departments, in particular police press offices and press offices of other authorities (e.g. public prosecutor's offices, fire brigade)

The press office is staffed during office hours; outside of these hours, press work is carried out by the control centre.
