Gütersloh (FK) - Since the beginning of June, some Gütersloh residents may have noticed a new face at the district service. Polizeioberkommissar Mustafa Solmaz succeeded Polizeihauptkommissar Rolf Heber, who recently left for Rietberg. The Gütersloh team, which has also included Polizeihauptkommissar in Tanja Lindahl for almost two years, is now complete again.
Mustafa Solmaz lives in the district of Gütersloh and has been working in the security service in Gütersloh and Halle (Westf.) since 2015 before successfully applying for the position at the district service for the city of Gütersloh. The 34-year-old has now been working there for a few weeks and has already settled in somewhat. On Monday morning (30.06.), he was welcomed to his new office by Landrat Sven-Georg Adenauer in perfect weather. District Administrator Adenauer attaches great importance to personally welcoming the district's new district officers. They are the first point of contact for citizens in their district and are well networked there. Thanks to their close contact with schools, companies and businesses in their areas, they also recognize small problems at an early stage and can often intervene before they become bigger.
