Nissan crashes into garden fence

(jd) Last night (13.08.), a previously unknown man was driving his Nissan on Bünder Straße in the direction of Markendorfer Straße at around 00:10. When turning into the street "Im Stüfken", he lost control of his vehicle and crashed head-on into an adjacent garden fence. A witness then saw that the driver left his car, inspected the damage and then continued his journey. During the investigation, the Nissen was found at the owner's address in Rödinghausen. The driver described by the witness, a 32-year-old man who showed clear signs of alcohol consumption, was also located here. A breath alcohol test carried out on the spot was positive. The man from Rödinghausen was taken to the police station in Bünde, where blood samples were taken. The officers confiscated the man's driving license. Damage of around 2,000 euros was caused.
